About Junction Brew Club
Junction Brew Club started in late 2015 at We Brought Beer in Clapham Junction in South West London.
The club has always aimed to help our members by sharing advice and experience to help us all brew better beer. Every meeting also includes the opportunity for attendees to bring along their home brewed beers for honest and constructive feedback.
We normally hold monthly meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (with a summer break in July & August).
The meetings have included discussions on specific brewing techniques and the science behind brewing, home brew challenges around specific style or ingredients. We have also had many guest speakers come to speak to us in person, including Andy Parker (Elusive Brewing), Paul Spraget (Orbit Beers), Roman Hochuli (Solvay Society), Jonny Hamilton (Tempus Project), and Ed Razzal (Adnams).
In 2019, We Brought Beer unfortunately had to close their Clapham Junction branch and we found a new home for the club at Battersea Brewery.
Having our club based at a brewery has allowed us a unique opportunity to be one of the only homebrew clubs in London with the opportunity to collaborate with a professional brewery. In June 2019 we made our first commercially available beer Battersea Junction Porter.
Since the COVID-19 lockdown began we’ve been hosting regular homebrew meetings & events online including beer tastings + Q&As with some of the UK’s leading craft brewers.
Once the lockdown has ended, we will once again be returning to our home at Battersea Brewery. Until then why not join us online, see our events section for what we have coming us.
